Upon invitation, Indigenous Science founder Dr. Yolanda Lopez-Maldonado participated as Speaker at the UNESCO International Symposium on Coastal Aquifers, Sustainable Futures, the 11th February 2026, at the UNESCO HQ, Paris, France.

She delivered a presentation at the Session 4 – Integrated and inclusive approaches to Coastal Aquifer Management; Technical Session 4b: Stakeholder Engagement: Gender, Youth & Local

Knowledge. The on-site event was also available online.
